What do Claimed and Verified mean?

There are two badges, and they mean different things.

Claimed means a real person claimed the club's listing. It does not mean we have checked the club or its instructors. The club describes itself, and the details come from the club.

New clubs are looked at by us before they go public. To take over an existing listing, you need the club's email or phone number shown on that listing, or our approval.

Verified is part of the Pro plan, and we check it by hand against real documents. The Verified badge means we checked the club's governing body licence. A club can also send us its DBS, insurance, first aid and identity. Each one we check is shown on the club's page.

If a club has no badge, or only Claimed, please do your own checks before committing. The articles below can help.
