How do payments work?

How each family pays you, and what is behind.

  1. 1Every student has one way of paying: card, direct debit, bank transfer, cash or free.
  2. 2Red means nothing set yet, or card payments that have ended. Amber means it needs a look: a card still being set up, a failed payment, a figure to check, card payments stopping, or a card still charging under another way of paying.
  3. 3Tap Manage on any student to choose their fee and how they pay, or to stop their card payments. Moving a card payer to another fee or another way asks first, and the family is emailed.
  4. 4Search by name, or tap a chip to see only cash payers, only card payers, and so on.
  5. 5EveryDojo takes no cut of what parents pay you. Card fees go to Stripe and are shown before you switch cards on.
